If you are in a marriage or legal partnership, your partner must be included in the application, and in addition must also be a legal signatory on any contracts if you qualify for a dog. This portion of the application assumes you share the same residence. Skip this section if you do not have a spouse or legal partner.

DOG PREFERENCES
Please carefully consider your timeline and obstacles as it relates to acquiring a dog. This is not an Amazon.com purchase on demand. It can take a long time to wait for the right healthy, stable, suitable companion. Our lead times vary. Producing good dogs is extraordinarily hard and complex. We work on biological timelines, not around customer vacation schedules, and therefore cannot guarantee when a dog will be available, unless you happen to contact us on the rare occasion when there is no waiting list and puppies are available. If you want a puppy 12 months or more from now, please wait and fill out an application when you are closer to the time you want a new dog. We do not work more than a year in advance with deposits for practical reasons.

LEGAL
Responsible breeders require legal contracts to protect everyone's rights. Such conracts, among other things, limit dog ownership to pet-only use, restrict any breeding of the dog, and require the dog to be returned to the breeder should you be unable to care for it. Are you willing to commit to such a contract?
